“At The Table Church, communion is a central act of worship that draws us closer to Christ and strengthens our unity as a body of believers. It is a time to reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus, who gave His body and blood for our salvation. Through communion, we remember His love, embrace His grace, and recommit to living in relationship with Him.
In John 15:5, Jesus says, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” Communion is a way for us to remain in Christ, abiding in Him as we partake of the bread and the cup, recognizing that apart from Him, we have no life. Through this sacred practice, we are reminded of our dependence on Him and our call to bear fruit for His Kingdom.
Communion unites us in faith, recalls Christ’s sacrifice, and calls us to live out His love in the world.”
